Job Description

• Meeting with consultants to ensure technical specification is captured and tender drawings are in order.
• Carry out tender document review before the issuance of tender to ensure the contract requirement is captured.
• Project problem-solving to ensure contractors adhere to contract specification, safety compliance & quality.
• Construction cost control
• Review procedures and processes related to project quality control & procedures.
• To ensure site progress is parallel with billing stage schedule in order to generate timely inflow
• To liaise with local authorities to ensure submission compliance are in order.
• To liaise with local authority for CCC inspection.
• Plan and manage all phases of construction projects including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Coordinate and liaise with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress and ensure work is carried out in accordance with contractual specifications, drawings, and standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections, meetings, and prepare reports on progress, cost, and issues.
• Ensure adherence to all safety, health, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Resolve project issues and implement effective corrective actions.
• Provide leadership, motivation, and mentorship to site teams and subcontractors.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Experience in preparing tender BQ, VO submission, progress claims, and cost control.
• Strong leadership skills to guide teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills for client coordination, reporting, and team management.
• Good knowledge of computer software ( AutoCAD, Microsoft Works and Excel ). 
• Strong organisational and planning abilities to handle schedules, budgets, and resources.
•  Ability to work under pressure to tight timescales, multitasking and have a good positive attitude. 
• Mandarin speaking is an advantage
