Overview
Join Prudential Assurance Malaysia Berhad as a Brand & Communications Intern and gain hands-on experience supporting internal and external communications, social media, and digital marketing initiatives. You’ll work closely with experienced professionals, assisting in projects that shape our brand voice and engage our audiences.
Key Responsibilities
External Communications & Public Relations
Assist in preparing press releases, media statements, and external messaging.
Support media relations activities and help maintain media contact lists.
Contribute to research and fact-checking for communications materials.
Help create and schedule content for the company’s LinkedIn page.
Support the development of digital campaigns and creative assets.
Internal Communications
Assist in drafting, editing, and proofreading content for employee announcements, newsletters, and internal platforms.
Support the planning and execution of internal campaigns and events.
Help monitor and report on the effectiveness of communication initiatives.
Special Projects & Initiatives
Provide administrative and creative support for special communications projects.
Assist in developing tailored messaging for various stakeholders.
Help ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
Learning Opportunities
Exposure to cross-functional collaboration with HR, Distribution, Operations, and external agencies.
Training and mentorship in communications strategy, digital marketing, and project management.
Opportunity to contribute ideas and participate in brainstorming sessions.
Requirements
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Xiaohongshu).
Basic design skills and experience with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop) are a plus.
Detail-oriented, organised, and eager to learn.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
