This role plays a pivotal part in aligning local finance transformation efforts with broader enterprise-wide transformation. By standardizing and automating existing processes e.g. expense analysis, it enhances cross-divisional efficiency and ensures consistency in data-driven decision-making. The role’s contribution is amplified by its ability to bridge technical expertise with strategic financial insight—making it a key enabler of enterprise-wide transformation.

Support Transformation-Related Initiatives

• Develop and deploy automation workflows using Alteryx, Power BI, Excel VBA and other transformation tools to streamline business processes as well as enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
• Engaging new users (e.g. Health) and aligning projects with organizational goals
• Improve Alteryx workflow accessibility, and manage Alteryx administration (SOW renewal, license management, SOP creation, procurement)

Analyse Financial Data and Develop Reporting Tools

• Support in-depth analysis of financial data to uncover trends, variances, and opportunities.
• Develop dynamic financial models and interactive dashboards using Power BI and Excel to support strategic decision-making. Ensure reports are user-friendly, visually engaging, and aligned with management information needs.

Provide Training and Support on Automation Tools

• Support the adoption of automation tools by conducting hands-on training sessions, creating user guides, setting up SOPs, and offering ongoing technical support.
• Empower colleagues to build their own workflows and explore advanced features in Alteryx, Power BI, and Excel VBA. Promote best practices and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

In-house Finance Operations and Expense consultation

• Develop framework for operationalizing an internal consulting support function to improve and/or support Finance Operations and Expense task including adhoc projects
• Review and improve existing operational process flow for better efficiency and mitigate gaps; prioritizing on TAT efficiency
