Job Description:

·       To process new insurance proposals according to the set guidelines and stipulated rules & regulations and deliver in accordance to the set service standard and quality.

·       Provide support and services to Financial Consultants on new business matters.

·       Handle appeals and cases escalated from complaints

·       Identify areas in application process whereby there are opportunities for improving efficiency and customer centricity.

·       Involve in day-to-day execution of new business submission including end-to-end processing.  This includes proposal approval, issuance, NTU, CFI, etc.

·       Actively seek continuous improvements in own area of expertsise to continue to be relevant to the business

Competencies & Personal Traits

• Knowledge of insurance laws & regulations
• Good understanding of insurance products
• Customer-oriented, with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Confident in problem solving and decision making
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Ability to communicate ideas, concept thoughts, information and instruction clearly
• Good process and business understanding of all the sections within New Business.

Working Experience

• Prior experience in the insurance industry is required
• Prior experience in New Business Admin will be an added advantage

Professional Qualifications & Education

• Diploma or degree in any discipline

• Proficiency in MS Office

Language

• English
