Job Overview:
As a Graphic Designer at PurelyB, you will be responsible for designing and creating multimedia content for our products and marketing materials. You will ensure consistency in visual design and branding across all channels, including e-commerce platforms, social media, and in-store displays. Your role will involve collaboration with various teams to understand market trends and business objectives, while also assisting in video editing and contributing to website UI/UX design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Multimedia Content Creation: Lead Design and create engaging graphics, images, and videos for product packaging, website content, social media, email campaigns, print, and mobile platforms. (70% time on graphics).
- Lead Photoshoots & assist in Video shoots
- Brand Consistency: Ensure the consistency of visual design, branding, and user experience across multiple channels, including e-commerce, social media, and in-store displays. Follow and enhance PurelyB’s design standards and style guides.
- Collaborative Design: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and sales, to understand consumer behavior, market trends, and business objectives. Use these insights to inform design decisions that resonate with our audience and boost engagement.
- Video Editing Support: Collaborate with the social media team to assist in editing video content, ensuring all video assets align with campaign objectives and brand aesthetics. Video content is a key focus for our social media channels.
- UI/UX Design: Contribute to the design of PurelyB’s website, including layout, color schemes, typography, and visual elements. Create wireframes and prototypes, conduct user research, and ensure the website is aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly.
- Creative Problem Solving: Address design challenges by creating innovative, visually appealing solutions that enhance the customer experience and align with PurelyB’s branding.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in graphic design, multimedia design, or a related role. Experience with UI/UX and web design is a strong plus.
- Design Skills: Proficiency in graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite—Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
- UI/UX Knowledge: Familiarity with website design tools and processes, including wireframing, prototyping, and user research. Experience designing user-friendly interfaces and optimizing user experiences is a plus.
- Creativity & Attention to Detail: Strong conceptual and creative thinking with an eye for detail. Ability to balance creativity with brand consistency.
- Collaboration & Communication: Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and sales teams to achieve business objectives.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality designs in a fast-paced environment.
