Role purpose

As a Builder, your focus is to create repeatable outreach systems and expand our pipeline from scratch. You will help design processes that scale, keep early deals moving, and make daily sales tasks easier for the team.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Outreach

• Identify potential clients using online research and local business directories.
• Create and send personalised email and message sequences to warm and cold prospects.
• Perform basic cold calling to qualify interest and capture next steps.
• Maintain prospect lists and update contact records in the CRM.

Sales Support & Operations

• Prepare pitch materials, proposals, and simple quotations for the sales team.
• Coordinate meeting schedules and follow up on action items with prospects.
• Assist in onboarding new clients by collecting documents and arranging handovers.
• Process basic administrative tasks such as order entry and file management.

Reporting & Process Improvement

• Track outreach performance and compile weekly progress reports for the BD lead.
• Suggest small process changes to improve response rates and team efficiency.
• Help maintain templates, playbooks, and a shared knowledge base for repeatable work.
• Support ad hoc market research to identify trends or competitor activity.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Fresh graduate or up to 0 years of related work experience but with strong interest in sales or business development.
• Diploma or degree in business, communications, marketing, or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Willingness to work full-time and learn on the job in a small team environment.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Basic familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Excel for simple lists and basic reporting.
• Competent with email outreach, calendar tools, and creating light presentation slides.
• Ability to perform online market research and summarise findings clearly.

Soft Skills & Qualities

• Clear verbal and written communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Curious mindset with willingness to try different outreach approaches and learn from feedback.
• Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple small tasks with attention to detail.
