At PwC, our people in tax services focus on providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. These individuals help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their tax positions.

In quantitative tax solutions and technologies at PwC, you will focus on leveraging data analytics and technology to develop innovative tax solutions. In this field, you will use quantitative methods to optimise tax processes and enhance decision-making for clients.

In joining, you’ll be a part of a team that provides practical, yet holistic, answers that help client cut through the noise and decide what to do with their customer relationship management processes, technology and investments. You’ll help our clients achieve essential advantage through creative digital strategies and better Information Technology management techniques. 

  •  Actively participate in systems design, implementation and documentation, attend to both business and technical considerations.  

  • Project planning and execution, ensuring project objectives are met.  

  • Cooperate with business analysis, systems support and infrastructure teams.  

  • Liaise with all levels of staff within the team and user communities.  

  • Able to assist in maintenance support for frontend applications and liaise with support team and backend team to resolve production issues. 

  • Able to provide guidance to juniors, ensuring the project scope is completed with high quality, on schedule and within budget.

Requirements 

  • Recognized University Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related discipline .

  • 2-4 years of working experience.  

  • Have real working experience on frontend development building responsive web design using TypeScript and/or Angular version 12 and above.  

  • Proficiency in CSS, HTML, Javascript and writing cross-browser compatible code.  

  • Proficiency in using source control with git and/or Azure DevOps.  

  • A clear understanding of RESTful web services / endpoints to consume data from provided restful endpoints. 

  • Project management, communication and analytical skills.  

  • Team player with good interpersonal and problem solving abilities.  

  • Passionate about learning new technologies and willing to share knowledge with the team.  

  • Results oriented with an agile mindset.  

  • Able to communicate effectively in verbal and written English Language with confidence.  

Advantageous if: 

  • Have experience in illustrating UI design ideas targeting web and mobile platform and building UI mockups, prototypes or wireframes using Figma or Adobe XD.  

  • Have experience working with corporate UI library and adhere to corporate branding and style standards.  

  • Have experience working in an environment that applies the Scrum framework.  

  • Know how to write unit and integration tests.  

  • Proficient with C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC, SQL, relational databases.  

  • Know your way around microservices, Docker containers and/or k8s. 

  • Comfortable with Microsoft Azure.
