Our work spans across industries and jurisdictions, supporting clients in navigating complex digital challenges.

The Forensic lab administrator plays a critical role in supporting the FTS team by ensuring the forensic lab and infrastructure are maintained to the highest standards of availability, security, and compliance. • Keep forensic lab servers and computers updated, patched, compliant and running smoothly.

  • Monitor and update forensic software applications as needed.

Handle data & evidence

  • Manage hard drive lifecycle: archiving, sanitisation, and destruction per retention policies.

  • Ensure chain-of-custody documentation is accurately completed and securely stored.

Inventory & licenses management

  • Maintain up-to-date inventory of forensic hardware and software.

  • Track and renew software licenses and subscriptions in a timely manner.

Technical support

  • Assist with computer imaging and basic data processing.

  • Support user requests and data preparation for document review platforms.

  • Participate in lab activities such as server refresh/migration and software testing.

Key Requirements

  • Diploma or certificate in Digital Forensics, Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field is preferred.

  • 1–2 years of experience in IT support, server management, or lab administration is preferred.

  • Basic understanding of server maintenance, patching, and fixing security issues.

  • Good at staying organised and having a good attention to detail.
