As a learning and development generalist at PwC, you will focus on designing and delivering innovative training programmes to enhance employee skills and knowledge. You will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the organisation.

Client Engagement: 

  • Drive sales initiatives targeting external clients while promoting Academy services to PwC’s internal clients across multiple service lines. 

Sales and Proposal Development: 

  • By adhering to the sales contact to cash and risk management processes of PwC, drive the creation of compelling proposals using PowerPoint and other tools for high-value opportunities and coordinate with stakeholders to win key business pursuits. 

Brand and Marketing Coordination: 

  • Collaborate with PwC’s Business Development Centre to ensure alignment with branding guidelines for all Academy initiatives. 

Strategic Planning and Execution: 

  • Develop, execute, and refine strategic sales and marketing plans tailored for PwC’s Academy Malaysia’s growth. 

Communication and Updates: 

  • Regularly coordinate and communicate product updates to internal and external stakeholders to enhance client engagement, awareness and satisfaction. 

Resource Management: 

  • Oversee maintenance and currency of marketing materials, product offerings, and tools to ensure they support effective sales processes. 

Process Improvement: 

  • Support the enhancement of sales and marketing processes, including bid procedures, governance, and overall operational efficiency. 

Market Research: 

  • Conduct ongoing market research and competitive intelligence within Malaysia's training services industry to inform strategy and identify opportunities. 

Performance Tracking and Reporting: 

  • Perform monthly analyses of sales and marketing activities, track progress, and present findings and recommendations to drive improvements. 

Skills and Attributes for Success: 

  • Proven experience in sales and marketing, particularly in the training or development industry. 

  • Strong project management capabilities and a well-organised approach to handling multiple initiatives. 

  • High proficiency in written and spoken English and strong presentation skills. 

  • Familiarity with media design tools and digital marketing techniques. 

  • Detail-oriented with robust follow-through and coordination skills. 

  • Strong understanding of sales lead management and qualifying processes. 

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, and knowledge of bid procedures and governance processes.
