Job Description & Summary

To support the Procurement team by managing supplier relationships, overseeing vendor compliance, sourcing compliance and ensuring adherence to standards and policies. This role will be essential in driving efficiency, mitigating risks, and supporting sustainable procurement practices.

1. Vendor Management:

• Identify and assessing new vendors onboard based on procurement needs and compliance with the standard and Policy

• Maintain up-to-date vendor records, ensuring accuracy of contracts, agreements, and compliance documents.

• Conduct Vendor Performance on monthly basis

• Support in conducting vendor due diligence and risk assessments in alignment with company policies.

• Identify and assess potential risks in vendor relationships, implementing mitigation plans where necessary.

• Conduct vendor re-assessment exercise as quired by policy

2. Governance and Strategy:

• Assessing and review vendor onboarding process and sourcing activities to ensure comply policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.

• Facilitate sourcing activities when necessary to ensure the comply with Policy • Monitor and assess vendor performance through regular reviews and audits, tracking KPIs, SLAs, and quality metrics.

• Work with cross-functional teams to address any vendor non-compliance issues and initiate corrective actions as needed.

• Continuously review and identify any improvement on Policy and Procedure

• Monitor market trends and adjust procurement strategies accordingly.

3. Contract Monitoring:

• Monitor and review PR creation to ensure the process complies with the Policy and Procedure.

• Monitor long term contract expiry and renewal exercise

4. Data Management and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of all vendor interactions and agreements within the procurement system.

• Prepare regular reports on vendor performance, compliance, risk metrics, spend analysis and others relevant report for management review.

5. Process Improvement:

• Contribute to the improvement of procurement processes, focusing on cost savings, efficiency, and sustainability.

• Assist in developing and maintaining vendor governance frameworks and standard operating procedures.

6. Support Procurement Initiatives:

• Assist in initiatives such as supplier diversity, sustainability efforts, and ethical sourcing.

• Able to conduct training and awareness sessions on vendor onboarding and sourcing governance best practices for stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in procurement, vendor management, or a similar role.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).

• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

• Attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Knowledge of procurement compliance and regulatory requirements

• Initiative and ability to work under minimal supervision

• Able to handle and facilitate the Internal Audit

• Experience in sourcing activities
