Design the Foundation of Every Product

At Pyrope Industries, every customised rubber component starts with precise technical drawings. As our Engineering Drafter, you will transform engineering concepts into production-ready designs that directly impact manufacturing accuracy, mould fabrication and product performance.

This is not basic drafting — this is precision industrial design in a real manufacturing environment.

 

What You Will Be Responsible For

Technical Drawing & 3D Modelling

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for customised rubber components
• Develop mould drawings based on client specifications
• Ensure dimensional accuracy, tolerances and material specifications are clearly defined
• Translate hand sketches or technical concepts into structured engineering drawings
   

Design Revision & Optimisation

• Revise drawings based on engineering and production feedback
• Adjust designs to improve manufacturability
• Ensure final drawings are production-ready before release
   

Collaboration & Documentation

• Work closely with engineers and production supervisors
• Maintain proper drawing revision control
• Organise and archive technical documentation systematically
• Ensure compliance with internal standards and client requirements

Job Requirements

What We Are Looking For

Technical Competency

• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
• Strong understanding of mechanical drawing standards
• Familiar with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) is an advantage
• Experience in mould design or manufacturing environment preferred
   

Experience

• Minimum 1–3 years drafting experience preferred
• Experience in rubber/plastic/mould fabrication industry is a plus
