Responsibilities

Production & Team Execution

• Plan and run daily production schedules to meet output targets while minimising downtime.
• Assign tasks, supervise operators, and coach the team to maintain consistent performance on the line.

Quality & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure finished goods meet quality standards by enforcing quality control processes and documentation.
• Lead root cause analyses for defects and implement simple continuous improvement steps to raise yield.

Safety, Maintenance & Reporting

• Enforce workplace safety protocols and carry out routine housekeeping and machine checks with the team.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance with technicians and keep clear production records and KPI reports for management.

Job Requirements

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Approximately 5 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing or production supervision is expected.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Mechanical Engineering fundamentals and manufacturing engineering practices.
• Practical experience in manufacturing operations, production management, and production process control.
• Familiarity with quality management and quality control processes, plus continuous improvement methods.

Soft Skills & Qualities

• Clear leadership and communication skills to guide small teams and liaise with maintenance and QA.
• Strong results orientation, organised approach to shift planning, and a hands-on problem solving attitude.
