About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Freelance Media Sales Partner to help us grow our brand partnership and commercial opportunities across our creator platforms.

Our channels reach 9.5 million followers across three creator brands, covering education, lifestyle, travel, kids and family content. We are looking for someone who can leverage their existing network and sales experience to connect us with relevant brands, agencies and clients.

This is a commission-based freelance opportunity that offers flexibility and uncapped earning potential.

What You'll Be Selling

You will be responsible for identifying and closing commercial opportunities, including:

• Brand partnerships and sponsored content
• Advertising and media placements
• Talent endorsements and ambassadorships
• KOL/influencer campaigns
• Talent IP and content collaborations
• Project-based commercial opportunities
• Other relevant brand partnership opportunities

What You'll Do

• Identify and approach potential brands, advertisers and agencies
• Build and maintain relationships with brand and agency contacts
• Pitch our creator platforms and commercial opportunities to potential clients
• Understand client marketing objectives and recommend suitable solutions
• Negotiate commercial terms and close deals
• Manage the sales process from initial outreach to deal closure
• Work closely with our team to ensure smooth campaign execution
• Identify new business opportunities and expand our client base
• Keep up with market trends, brand campaigns and influencer marketing opportunities

Job Requirements

You should have:

• Proven experience in media sales, advertising sales, KOL/influencer sales, talent representation or agency-side media/KOL buying
• A strong network of brand, marketing or agency contacts
• Demonstrated experience in prospecting, pitching, negotiating and closing deals
• Good understanding of influencer marketing and brand partnerships
• Understanding of usage rights, exclusivity and talent/content licensing
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own pipeline
• Commercially driven with a strong focus on results
• Good understanding of brands' marketing and campaign objectives

Good to Have

• Existing relationships with marketing agencies, media agencies or major brands
• Experience working with content creators, KOLs or talent
• Experience selling digital media, social media advertising or influencer campaigns
• Knowledge of Malaysian media and influencer marketing landscape
• Existing client portfolio or sales network
