Job Description

As a Finance & Operation Lead, you will oversee Qlic’s finance, admin, and operational processes to ensure the company runs efficiently, profitably, and compliantly. You will work closely with the Director and department heads to improve reporting, streamline costs, and drive operational excellence.

🔹 Finance & Accounting

• Manage monthly closing, P&L, balance sheet, and budgeting
• Oversee cash flow, payment schedules, and fund allocation
• Liaise with accountants, auditors, tax agents, and ensure compliance
• Prepare monthly financial and performance reports for management
• Maintain internal controls and improve financial SOPs

🔹 Operations & Admin

• Oversee procurement, vendor management, and company admin functions
• Coordinate with project, sales, and creative teams to streamline workflows
• Optimize company resources and implement cost-saving measures
• Ensure smooth daily operations of the office and internal teams

🔹 HR Coordination (if needed)

• Support payroll processing and HR documentation via outsource partners
• Oversee claims, staff onboarding, leave management, and benefits
• Assist in improving HR SOPs, policies, and compliance practices

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Admin, or related
• 5–10 years of experience in finance/ops roles (preferably SME or agency)
• Strong in cash flow, cost control, budgeting, and reporting
• Analytical, structured, and detail-oriented
• Able to work independently with a proactive mindset
• Familiarity with Xero, or similar tools is a bonus

Bonus Advantage:

• Experience in event management, media, or marketing industry
• Familiarity with project budgeting and cost tracking
• Ability to build automation or reporting dashboards (Power BI / Google Sheets)
