We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Category Executive to be the backbone of our Grocery category team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to launch your career in retail, gain hands-on exposure and build a strong foundation in buying, merchandising, and strategy.

As part of our passionate and innovative team, you will play an important role in supporting the Category Executive and ensuring our shelves are filled with the products our customers love. You’ll be immersed in the day-to-day operations of a dynamic grocery business while growing your skills and experience.

Responsibilities:

• Data Management: Accurately maintain and update product information, pricing, and promotional details in our systems.
• Reporting: Assist in preparing regular reports on salesperformance, stock levels, and market trends using Microsoft Excel and other internal tools.
• Supplier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers for product samples, order confirmations, and delivery follow-ups to ensure a smooth supply chain.
• Market Research: Conduct competitor analysis, including price checks and promotional tracking, to provide valuable insights to the Category Manager.
• Promotional Support: Help execute the promotional calendar by setting up campaigns and coordinating with the marketing team.
• Administrative Support: Provide all-around administrative and operational support to the category team to ensure efficiency and success.

Job Requirements

Requirements :

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates with strong academic background and a desire to build a career in retail are highly encouraged to apply.
• 1-2 years of experience in an administrative, purchasing, or data-focused role is an advantage.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must (familiarity with functions such as VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables is a significant advantage).
• Extremely organised, meticulous, and detail-oriented with a strong aptitude for numbers. 
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
