Job Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and results-oriented Battery Sales Executive to enhance sales growth, increase market presence, and foster robust customer relationships in the automotive and commercial vehicle battery sector. The ideal candidate will be tasked with uncovering business opportunities, overseeing customer accounts, and meeting sales objectives while delivering outstanding product knowledge and post-sales support.
Primary Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Market and sell automotive, commercial vehicle, industrial, and heavy-duty batteries to wholesalers, dealers, workshops, retailers, fleet operators, and individual customers.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities to broaden the customer base and market reach.
- Generate leads through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and market visits.
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals established by Management.
- Formulate and implement sales strategies to boost revenue and market share.
Customer Relationship Management
- Establish and sustain strong relationships with current and potential customers.
- Conduct regular visits to customers to assess business needs and market requirements.
- Offer professional guidance and suggest appropriate battery solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Guarantee high levels of customer satisfaction through prompt service and follow-ups.
Product Knowledge & Technical Support
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of battery products, specifications, applications, and warranty policies.
- Provide product demonstrations and technical insights for customers.
- Assist customers in selecting the right battery products for various vehicles and equipment.
- Stay informed on industry developments, competitor offerings, and market trends.
Quotation, Order Processing & After-Sales Support
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and relevant sales documentation.
- Follow up on quotes and sales leads to secure business deals.
- Collaborate with internal teams on order processing, inventory status, and delivery timelines.
- Address customer feedback, complaints, and warranty claims in a professional and effective manner.
- Ensure timely resolution of customer concerns.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Track competitor actions, pricing strategies, and industry trends.
- Gather market insights and provide suggestions to Management.
- Create weekly and monthly sales activity reports.
- Maintain precise customer databases and sales records.
Branding & Promotional Activities
- Assist in marketing campaigns, trade shows, roadshows, and promotional events.
- Ensure proper product presentation and brand visibility at customer locations when applicable.
- Promote company products and services in a professional manner that aligns with company objectives.
Additional Responsibilities
- Support Management in business development efforts and special projects.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by Management as needed.
