Job Description

Raffles Toddler Centre (RTCC) is seeking a dynamic, hands-on and commercially minded Co-Director to lead operations and growth of the toddler centre serving children aged 9 months to 3 years. The role focuses on driving student enrolment and centre growth, promoting the RTCC to prospective families, building strong parent relationships, and ensuring high standards of childcare, safety and centre operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Enrolment, Marketing & Centre Growth: Take direct responsibility for driving enrolment and growing the RTCC/Toddler Programme with a strong focus on increasing student numbers; actively promote and sell the RTCC to prospective parents by communicating its programmes, facilities, care standards and overall value proposition; develop and execute proactive strategies to attract new families and convert enquiries into enrolments including outreach, follow-up, parent engagement, events and community initiatives; build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing parents to encourage enrolment, retention and referrals; work closely with the RAS Marketing and Admissions teams to develop and implement effective marketing and student recruitment initiatives.
  
• RTCC Operations & Leadership: Lead and oversee day-to-day operations of the RTCC, ensuring a safe, nurturing and well-managed environment; lead, coach and develop teaching and support staff; ensure high standards of childcare, safety, hygiene, child protection and age-appropriate development for children aged 9 months to 3 years; ensure compliance with applicable JKM/TASKA regulatory and licensing requirements.
  
• Parent & Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents and provide a positive and professional experience for families; address parent concerns promptly and professionally; develop a welcoming RTCC community and strengthen parent engagement.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Attributes

• PERMATA Early Childhood Care Course (KAP) – mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in early childhood education/childcare, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong practical knowledge of care, safety and developmental needs of children aged 9 months to 3 years, with knowledge of JKM/TASKA requirements.
• Dynamic, energetic, proactive and hands-on, with strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commercially minded and results-oriented, with ability to engage parents, promote and sell the RTCC, drive enrolment and grow the Toddler Programme.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Must meet applicable JKM/TASKA requirements and pass required background checks.
• Willing to work in Johor Bahru-Iskandar Puteri.
