We are inviting passionate tutors to join working with us at Raj Solutions, a hands-on education team supporting IGCSE and KSSM learners across Malaysia. We focus on clear explanations, steady exam practice, and building student confidence in a friendly and professional way.

As a part-time IGCSE & KSSM Subject Tutor you will design repeatable lesson pathways that scale from one-on-one online sessions to regular in-person classes. You will produce syllabus-aligned materials, diagnostic checks and mock papers that track progress. Your work helps students improve steadily while you grow a stable student base.

You will coordinate directly with parents and our small tutor team to manage schedules and share progress reports. Sessions will blend online and face-to-face delivery and require concise homework and targeted revision tasks. Success is measured by steady grade improvements and returning students.

Your Growth & Impact

• Expand your teaching portfolio by delivering both IGCSE and KSSM lessons across age groups and formats. Build a diverse subject mix that strengthens your CV, increases referrals, and helps you charge higher rates over time.
• Build professional lesson packs, worked examples, and mock papers you can reuse and licence. Improve your online and printed resources to attract longer-term students and reduce prep time per class.
• Sharpen online delivery skills using Zoom, Google Meet, Google Classroom and basic digital whiteboards. Learn practical recording and short editing tips so your clips are ready to share with students.
• Gain regular, actionable feedback from students and parents through concise progress notes and milestone reports. Use feedback loops to show measurable grade gains and improve retention.
• Position yourself for lead tutor or mentoring roles as you demonstrate consistent student improvement. Grow a stable base of returning students, take on small group classes, and help shape our curriculum choices.

Lesson Design & Assessment

• Design repeatable, syllabus-aligned lesson pathways for IGCSE and KSSM that scale from one-on-one tutorials to small group classes.
• Create diagnostic checks, worked examples and mock papers to measure progress and focus revision.
• Build reusable lesson packs and short assessment cycles to reduce prep time and track steady grade improvement.

Delivery & Student Progress

• Deliver clear, engaging lessons online and face-to-face, adjusting pace and approach to each student.
• Assign concise homework and targeted revision tasks that reinforce weak areas and prepare students for exams.
• Use Meet Hour, Google Meet, Google Classroom and basic digital whiteboards to run interactive sessions and share learning resources.
• Record short clips and provide quick feedback so students and parents see measurable progress between sessions.

Coordination & Growth

• Coordinate schedules and progress notes directly with parents and our small tutor team at Raj Solutions to keep communication clear.
• Manage student retention through consistent milestone reports and timely follow ups.
• Grow a stable student base by delivering reliable outcomes, taking on small group classes, and improving resource quality.
• Step into lead tutor or mentoring roles as you demonstrate consistent student improvement and help shape curriculum choices.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Degree, preferably in Education, the relevant subject, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of the subject(s) you will teach and confidence teaching across targeted exam topics.
• Familiarity with the IGCSE and/or KSSM syllabus is an advantage.
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred, but fresh graduates with strong subject knowledge are welcome to apply.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Good spoken and written communication for clear explanations and concise progress reports.
• Able to explain concepts clearly and adapt teaching methods to individual learner needs.
• Good classroom management skills for both online and physical classes, including time management and student engagement techniques.
• Comfortable using basic online teaching tools and technology such as Zoom, Google Meet, Google Classroom and simple digital whiteboards.

Soft Skills & Qualities

• Patient, responsible and professional when working with students and parents.
• Able to conduct well-structured, engaging lessons that keep students motivated.
• Reliable and able to commit to agreed teaching schedules with prompt communication about availability.
• Willing to follow RTC's teaching guidelines, training materials and standard practices; applicants who can teach multiple subjects or levels and who can teach online, offline at Bangsar HQ, or both are encouraged to apply.
