Job Description

We’re looking for a motivated, hardworking, and detail-oriented Kitchen Commis Chef to support our kitchen operations. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working as part of a team, and take pride in preparing quality food that keeps guests coming back.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in daily food preparation and basic cooking tasks.
• Support the Chef / Kitchen Lead in food production and service.
• Prepare ingredients according to recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, workstations, and equipment.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Assist with plating and ensuring consistent food quality.
• Handle ingredients properly and help with stock organization.
• Collaborate with front-of-house and kitchen team members during service.
• Carry out any other kitchen duties as assigned by the management.

Job Requirements

• Have Food Handling Certificate & Typhoid Vaccination
• Friendly, polite, and customer-oriented
• Team player and responsible
• Can work in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to learn and follow instructions
• Punctual and maintains good hygiene
