About the Role
Are you a Quantity Surveying student or fresh graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in interior design fit-out and renovation?
As an intern, you’ll work alongside our experienced team to learn how cost estimation, material sourcing, and site coordination work in the real world. We offer a supportive environment where you can build confidence and apply your academic knowledge to live projects!
What You’ll Learn & Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Cost Estimation: Assist in reading layout plans and calculating material/labor quantities for interior design projects.
- Quotations & Sourcing: Help gather supplier quotes, compare material prices, and prepare draft proposals for clients.
- Project Support: Learn how to track project expenses and keep records of variations or changes (VOs).
- Site Exposure: Join our team on occasional site visits to understand site progress, measure actual dimensions, and assist with light site supervision.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with designers and project managers to learn how aesthetics and budgets balance together.
Job Requirements
Who We’re Looking For
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree student/fresh graduate in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of quantity surveying concepts and ability to read basic floor plans/drawings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Eager to learn, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Good communication skills and a team player mindset.
