Job Description
Relieve Therapeutics Pte Ltd, a Singapore-incorporated clinical-stage biopharma company backed by TAEL Partners, a regional PE fund management firm, is looking for a Finance & Operations Manager on a 6-month full-time contract basis, based in Kuala Lumpur. The position carries a genuine pathway to a long-term engagement with Relieve Therapeutics upon a successful Series A fundraise. We are a lean, founder-led team looking for someone who thrives in early-stage environments.

Remuneration: Commensurate with experience
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising & Investor Relations
- Prepare investor-ready financial packages and respond to investor queries for Relieve Therapeutics' Series A fundraise.
- Produce monthly and quarterly board and investor updates; support the CEO on stakeholder communications and due diligence requests.
- Contribute to financial modelling for fundraising, partnership, and licensing activities.
Financial Reporting & Accounting
- Manage full-cycle accounting across entities: multi-currency AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and month-end close (Singapore and Malaysia).
- Prepare full sets of accounts and financial statements, including IFRS-compliant income statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports, and statutory notes.
- Maintain audit readiness; liaise with auditors and tax agents on regulatory filings.
Treasury & Payments
- Manage cross-border treasury operations via DBS IDEAL, Wise, and SWIFT: international payments (USD, EUR, and others), FX risk management, and multi-jurisdictional banking compliance.
- Monitor daily cash movements, manage related party transactions and cross-charges across related entities and portfolio companies; maintain accurate records for audit and investor reporting.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis
- Prepare scenario-based budgets, variance analyses, and cash run-rate projections aligned to operational and fundraising milestones.
- Track portfolio and project financials; provide financial analysis to support management decisions.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure tax and audit compliance across relevant jurisdictions (Singapore, Malaysia, and others); submit periodic statutory reports.
- Maintain payment authorisation workflows, internal controls, and governance frameworks across a multi-jurisdictional, multi-entity structure.
- Review legal agreements and monitor milestone obligations, flagging key dates and deliverables to management.
Operations & Project Coordination
- Build and maintain project management records and coordination systems for internal teams and external partners and stakeholders.
- Oversee company secretarial duties: statutory registers, annual returns, and board and shareholder meeting records.
- Coordinate HR documentation: employment contracts, onboarding, and liaison with outsourced payroll providers.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and advisors, including bankers, legal counsel, auditors, tax agents, IT providers, and facilities management.
