Job Description: 

* Perform daily Data Centre and Backup Recovery operation, reporting and incident case support. 

* Provide 1st or 2nd level support in Backup and Recovery. 

* Capacity Planning and Inventory Management for Data Centre and Backup. Perform or assist in small to big scale of Data Centre or Backup project, planning and implementation. 

* Participate in ISO 27001 certification and ISMS compliance for backup and data centre. 

* Perform or assist in Risk Management and Change Management for Data Centre and Backup. 

* Perform or assist in Incident and problem management for Data centre and backup. 

* Vendor management for preventive maintenance and facilities breakdown. 

* Ensure vendor deliverables are met according to contracted agreement. 

* Liaise for technical and procurement related matters. 

* On Phone Standby for Data Centre in rotation basis. 

* Participate actively in process, documentations as well as policies and procedures enforcements.

Job Requirements: 
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent. 
* Experience in Data Center and/or Backup operation will be an added advantage. 
* Experience in Commvault Backup & Recovery / Metallic SaaS Backup and/or certified in data centre will be an added advantage. 
* Self-motivated, proactive and resourceful. 
* Possess strong interpersonal skills with good written and verbal communication in English. 
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills. 
* A good team player willing to assist team members yet able to work independently with minimum supervision. 
* Able to carry out routine jobs and based at Wisma Genting, KL
