Job Description

Responsible for managing all financial and contractual aspects of civil/ building projects from inception to completion. They ensure projects stay within budget, handling cost planning, procurement, and measurement of materials (taking-off)

Key Responsibilities & Roles

• ⁠ ⁠Cost Management: Preparing initial cost estimates, feasibility studies, and cost plans to manage budgets throughout the project.
• ⁠ ⁠Measurement & Tendering: Measuring construction drawings ("taking-off") to prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ) and managing the tender process.
• ⁠ ⁠Contract Administration: Preparing contract documents, negotiating with contractors, and managing project contracts.
• ⁠ ⁠Progress Monitoring: Tracking on-site progress, identifying potential cost variations, and assessing progress claims for payment.

Job Requirements

 ⁠Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent

• ⁠ ⁠1–3 years of working experience 
• ⁠ ⁠Knowledge in pre- & post-contract works
• ⁠ ⁠Familiar with tendering, BQ, claims, and cost control
• ⁠ ⁠Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and QS software (e.g. Cubi cost)
• ⁠ ⁠Able to read construction drawings
• ⁠ ⁠Good communication, analytical, and negotiation skills
