Job Description

Job Purpose

To support and execute marketing, branding and communications initiatives for Pictureworks and assigned business units. The role is hands-on and execution-focused, responsible for delivering high-quality marketing materials, campaigns, digital content and stakeholder communications accurately, on time and in line with approved brand standards and business objectives.

Marketing & Campaign Execution

  • Plan, coordinate and execute marketing campaigns, promotions, launches and partnership initiatives across assigned business units.
  • Translate approved marketing plans and business requirements into clear execution timelines, deliverables and follow-up actions.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, agencies, designers, vendors and partners to ensure campaigns are delivered accurately and on schedule.
  • Support customer acquisition, merchant acquisition, loyalty engagement, lead generation and revenue-driving initiatives where applicable.
  • Track campaign performance and prepare post-campaign reports with key results, learnings and recommended follow-up actions.

Brand, Content & Marketing Collaterals

  • Maintain brand consistency across websites, social media, presentations, sales decks, EDMs, brochures, event materials and other marketing assets.
  • Draft, edit and proofread marketing copy, corporate content, social media posts, campaign messages and internal/external communications.
  • Coordinate the development of creative assets with internal or external designers and ensure final output is suitable for its intended use.
  • Perform quality-control checks before submission or publication, including content accuracy, spelling, layout, image quality/resolution, dimensions, file format, links and brand compliance.
  • Maintain organised and up-to-date marketing asset libraries, source files, approved artwork and brand materials.

Digital & Social Media

  • Manage day-to-day content planning and publishing across assigned digital and social media channels.
  • Maintain content calendars and coordinate timely updates to websites, landing pages and campaign channels.
  • Monitor engagement, traffic and campaign metrics and compile regular performance reporting.
  • Support basic digital marketing activities including EDM, CRM/member communications, paid media coordination and campaign tracking.

  Cross-Business Marketing Support

  • Provide marketing support across Pictureworks’ assigned brands, business units, projects and strategic initiatives based on agreed priorities and requirements.
  • Understand the different audiences, products and commercial objectives across assigned brands and projects, and adapt execution accordingly.
  • Manage multiple briefs concurrently, maintain clear work-in-progress tracking and communicate timelines, dependencies and risks early.
  • Work closely with business, commercial, operations, technology and management teams to ensure marketing deliverables support business priorities.

PR, Corporate Communications & Events

  • Support the preparation of press releases, media materials, corporate announcements, executive profiles and thought-leadership content.
  • Coordinate with PR agencies, media partners and external stakeholders when required.
  • Support corporate events, exhibitions, launches, partner activities and internal communications, including preparation of required materials and on-ground coordination.

Marketing Operations & Governance

  • Maintain structured workflows, approval records, marketing calendars, project trackers and campaign documentation.
  • Obtain quotations, coordinate purchase requirements and monitor approved marketing budgets where assigned.
  • Ensure all materials are properly checked and management-ready before seeking approval; avoid incomplete, low-quality or technically unsuitable submissions.
  • Take ownership of assigned deliverables from brief through completion, with proactive follow-up and escalation when deadlines or quality standards are at risk.

Job Requirements

  •  Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, Mass Communications or a related discipline.
  • Approximately 3-5 years of relevant experience in marketing, branding, digital marketing, communications or account servicing. Strong candidates with slightly less experience but demonstrated ownership and execution capability may be considered.
  • Strong written and spoken English. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia is required; Mandarin/Chinese proficiency is an advantage for regional and China-facing work.
  • Strong copywriting, proofreading and presentation skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good working knowledge of digital and social media platforms, campaign execution and marketing performance reporting.
  • Competent in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel; familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar creative tools is advantageous.
  • Experience working across multiple brands, business units or client accounts is advantageous; agency experience is a plus.
  • Exposure to technology, digital platforms, eCommerce, attractions, hospitality, lifestyle or consumer businesses is advantageous.
