The Position

Job Summary: 

As the Customer Partner Lead, you will be responsible for leading the sales team to drive innovative initiatives and overall coordination of all commercial activities for existing and new  products and solutions, management of customer and sales data, and implementation of marketing campaigns in order to achieve the overall vision and goals for the assigned territory. You will be responsible to manage territory key accounts, ensure operation effectiveness and efficiency, annual budget planning, sales forecasting in compliance to RDC Malaysia business strategy

In this position, you will be in a key role to help shape and enable the RDC Malaysia strategy, and contribute to the overall Roche Diabetes Care iPDM  Strategy.

You demonstrate personal purpose around improving the healthcare ecosystem thinking from an enterprise level, beyond boundaries and borders, to bring the best possible outcomes to the health environment; creating better health outcomes for more patients faster, and by bringing a strong entrepreneurial mentality with outstanding partnering capabilities. 

The Opportunity

  • Contribute and provide information to leadership regarding probability of sales, emerging customer issues and competitor data as observed in area of responsibility. Provide direction for the team on strategizing sales in alignment with overall sales strategy

  • Responsible for team development, coaching and mentoring

  • Identify opportunities and initiate activities in the territory that optimize the return on investment for the company. Achieve Team Budget in the assigned territory and formulating effective growth plan

  • Promote cross-functional communication, strategy and tactical planning to solve challenges and maximize revenue generation

  • Understand market conditions and trends, develop long term strategies and provide recommendations to leadership which may include the creation and delivery of presentations

  • Develop and build strategic engagement and partnering with KOLs and relevant stakeholders in key accounts.  Be a partner/consultant in shaping their plans, decisions and supporting their professional objectives to achieve RDC  business strategy and goals

  • Identify effectively the needs of the customer and provide competitive differentiation and value definition of Roche offering in collaboration with the Marketing team.

  • Proactive in each account tender cycle and ensure timely participation

Who you are
You are someone who are/have:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Health/Science/Medical disciplines from a reputable University

  • 5+ years relevant sales or equivalent experience with proven track record of success. 1-2 years management or equivalent leadership experience with demonstrated strong competency and proven track record in sales management and leadership with excellent oral and written communication skills including making impactful presentations

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and strong business acumen together with the ability to manage ambiguity and drive for result. Leadership skills demonstrated by self-confidence, good judgement, sound decision-making, active listening, flexibility, self-motivation and ability to challenge the status quo 

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills. 
    Attention to detail, ability to think strategically, solutions-oriented and results driven. 
    Strategic prospecting, relationship building and customer service skill

  • Ability to travel interstate as required by the position. Possess a valid Malaysian driver’s license
