Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic R&D Intern to join our Research & Development team at 5S Food Solutions Sdn. Bhd.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in food product development, food testing, quality improvement, and food manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and improvement of food products and sauces.
• Support food ingredient testing, product trials, and sensory evaluations.
• Assist with sample preparation and product testing activities.
• Record and document R&D results, product formulations, and testing data.
• Assist in evaluating product quality, consistency, and performance.
• Support the team in conducting food experiments and product improvement projects.
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in the R&D laboratory and working areas.
• Perform other R&D-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Culinology, Food Engineering, or a related field.
• A genuine interest in food product development, food innovation, and research.
• Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Responsible, proactive, and able to work well in a team.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and data recording.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to follow instructions and comply with food safety and hygiene requirements.
• Fresh graduates or students seeking an internship placement are welcome to apply, subject to internship eligibility.
