Job Description

• Assist in preparing corporate tax computations and tax returns in compliance with Malaysian tax laws and regulations.
• Coordinate with clients to collate necessary information and documentation for tax filings and assist with attending to tax queries from regulatory authorities.
• Conduct tax research and analysis.
• Aspire to improve relationships with clients by delivering high-quality tax services and providing timely and responsive support.
• Proactively identify opportunities to add value to client engagements and contribute to their overall success through effective tax planning and advisory services.
• Work closely with other members of the tax team and cross-functional teams within the firm to leverage resources, share knowledge, and ensure seamless delivery of tax services.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities to enhance your tax expertise, technical skills, and industry knowledge.
• To assist with any other ad hoc assignments. 

Job Requirements

•  A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
•  A minimum of internship experience, preferably in a public accounting firm or tax department. 
•  Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
•  Good written and verbal communication skills.
•  Familiarity with Malaysian tax laws and regulations.
•  Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with BrassTax software will be an added advantage.
