Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable (AP) Support

  • Assist in entering supplier/vendor invoices into the accounting system (SQL)
  • Match invoices with supporting documents according to the SOP
  • Follow up with other departments for pending or incomplete documents
  • Help prepare payment vouchers under supervision
  • Maintain proper filing of payment vouchers and related documents

General Accounting

  • Assist in data entry for journal entries and general ledger transactions
  • Support the preparation of bank reconciliation reports
  • Help compile supporting documents for external audit and tax agent
  • Support the tracking and recording of fixed assets or prepaid expenses if applicable

Tax and Administrative Task

  • Assist in compiling tax-related documents and summaries
  • Support research on current tax practices or compliance matters (e.g., SST, WHT, income tax)
  • Participate in finance projects, system updates or internal process improvements
  • Assist with any additional duties assigned by the superior or finance team

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • Candidates must currently pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Must be disciplined, trustworthy and able to handle highly confidential matters and work independently.
  • Sound knowledge in handling Google Sheets/Google Docs or Microsoft Office.
  • Familiar with SQL Accounting Software (others can be considerable).
  • A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Job Type: Internship
  • Contract length: 5-6 months
  • Pay: RM900.00 per month
