Job Description
- Plan merchandise strategic launches and promotions and determine pricing strategy.
- Source/develop new items and negotiate prices with suppliers.
- Assist in developing optimum product mix, market research, market competitor analysis, and data analysis.
- Sales forecasting, budget management, and sales performance analysis reports.
- Monitor and implement effective inventory control.
- Identify problems and propose an improvement plan.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Merchandising Manager.
Job Requirements
- Preferably, those with household or furniture product knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Willing to travel locally & overseas.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin & English.
- Mandarin speakers will be an added advantage.
- At least 3-5 years of working experience, in buying/merchandising/purchasing.
