Job Description

A visual merchandiser in the furniture industry creates and implements visual displays to attract customers and increase sales. Their responsibilities include: 

  1. Design and implement attractive and functional store displays to maximize product appeal and sales.
  2. Strategically position products to highlight key features, new arrivals, and promotional items, ensuring a cohesive and engaging customer journey.
  3. Stay informed about current trends in furniture and home decor to keep our displays fresh and relevant.
  4. Ensure all merchandising displays comply with company standards, safety regulations, and brand guidelines.
  5. Maintaining all VM standards by continually reviewing product placement and merchandise layout to maximize opportunities

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail merchandising, preferably in the furniture or home decor industry.
  • Strong visual design and space planning abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive and attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Being a passionate individual that stays up to date on trends and enjoys home and interior design.
  • Must be able to travel and possess own transportation to different retail store locations.

Mandarin Speakers will be an added advantage.
