Job Description
A visual merchandiser in the furniture industry creates and implements visual displays to attract customers and increase sales. Their responsibilities include:
- Design and implement attractive and functional store displays to maximize product appeal and sales.
- Strategically position products to highlight key features, new arrivals, and promotional items, ensuring a cohesive and engaging customer journey.
- Stay informed about current trends in furniture and home decor to keep our displays fresh and relevant.
- Ensure all merchandising displays comply with company standards, safety regulations, and brand guidelines.
- Maintaining all VM standards by continually reviewing product placement and merchandise layout to maximize opportunities
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail merchandising, preferably in the furniture or home decor industry.
- Strong visual design and space planning abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive and attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Being a passionate individual that stays up to date on trends and enjoys home and interior design.
- Must be able to travel and possess own transportation to different retail store locations.
Mandarin Speakers will be an added advantage.
