Job Description
- Able to prepare and review tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, and sole proprietorships
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations by reviewing supporting documents and verifying the accuracy of reported figures.
- Work closely with the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) on tax queries, audits, and compliance matters.
- Prepare and submit tax returns through the MyTax (MITS) system in a timely and efficient manner
Job Requirements
- Degree in accounting (diploma in relevant field is also considered)
- Able to work with excel and words applications
- Able to speak & write English, Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin would be an advantage, since clientele includes chinese entreprenuer who cannot read and write in english or malay)
- Required skills:Able to prepare tax computations for individuals, partnerships and companies
- 1-3 years in taxation work.
- Able to handle a portfolio of clients.
- Must update themselves with latest tax laws and rulings.
