This Town Planner / Assistant Town Planner role is a builder role: you will prepare and refine planning reports, layout plans and development proposals that move projects from concept to council approval. You will conduct on-site assessments, gather and analyse planning data, liaise with clients and government agencies, and support project coordination to keep deliverables on schedule and compliant with regulations.

Job Requirements

• Candidate currently pursuing or holding a Diploma, Bachelor’s, or Master’s Degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning, Regional Planning, or a related field. 
• Proficiency in planning-related software (e.g., GIS, CAD) and standard office tools (e.g., MS Office) for analysis, mapping, and documentation.

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia for report writing, documentation, and coordination.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail in data collection and layout planning.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, support project timelines, and adapt quickly to fast-paced project requirements.
