Job Summary

IT & Cybersecurity Intern will play a pivotal role in strengthening our organizational security posture by developing structured technical documentation for ISO standards and building a comprehensive IT knowledge base that serves as the backbone for our engineering and support teams.

Job Responsibilities

• ISO Documentation Development: Assist in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining technical documentation required for ISO certifications (such as ISO 27001), including security policies, incident response plans, and network diagrams.
• Knowledge Base Creation: Design and populate a centralized IT Knowledge Base (KB) to document standard operating procedures (SOPs), troubleshooting guides, and system architectures.
• Cybersecurity Auditing Support: Assist in internal security audits, vulnerability assessments, and the monitoring of IT infrastructure to ensure compliance with established security protocols.
• Technical Writing: Translate complex technical processes into clear, structured documentation and flowcharts to support development and operations efforts.
• Process Optimization: Collaborate with senior engineers to identify gaps in current documentation and suggest improvements for better system performance and security.
• IT Support & Administration: Provide foundational support for hardware/software setups and basic network configuration under the guidance of the IT team.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• Educational Background: Currently pursuing or a recent graduate of a Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Foundational Knowledge: Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS), operating systems, and cybersecurity principles.
• Writing Skills: Exceptional ability to write clear, concise, and structured technical documentation in English.
• Detail-Oriented: A strong eye for detail with an interest in compliance, governance, and organizational standards (ISO/NIST).
• Technical Familiarity: Proficiency with documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, Notion, or GitHub Wiki) and diagramming software (e.g., Lucidchart, Visio).
• Attitude: A strong willingness to learn, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and take on challenges in a fast-paced environment.
