Purpose

To participate and ensure that all engineering design works related to electrical, controls, instrumentation and SCADA system are carried out within the required quality and acceptable standard.

Responsibilities / Authority

1. Preparation, compilation and submission of Electrical and Control system design documents and technical drawings to clients/consultants for approval.

2. Respond to technical enquiry from clients/consultants on document and drawing submission.

3. Carry out supervision of subcontractors and works at the project site to ensure efficient implementation of electrical and controls works.

4. Involve in Testing & Commissioning of Electrical & Control works to ensure successful execution of the project.

5. To liase with local authorities, consultants, clients, contractors, suppliers and principals in relation to assigned contracts for approvals and site requirements.

6. Review and understand contract documents including conditions, scope, specifications etc and schedule of works programme of assigned contracts.

7. Assist Proposal department in performing tender bidding activities as and when required.

8. To ensure conduct and work is in compliance with ISO requirements and company’s policies/regulations/procedures.

9. To carry out any assignments, as requested / instructed by the immediate superior / Management.

Requirements:

1.    Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline

2.    Proven work experience working or a similar position.

3.    Good knowledge in water/waste water engineering design works related to electrical, controls, instrumentation  and SCADA system.

4.    Strong understanding of electrical and control system along with project management skills.
