Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for site visit and tender briefing and assist in project scope definition.
2. Sourcing and determine suppliers/sub-contractors’ eligibility for inclusion in company’s vendors list.
3. Liaison and coordination with in-house consultant regarding design preference/advantages and solutions.
4. Create schedule for construction execution plan including resources allocation to meet tender requirement.
5. Estimate and analyse the cost of the works including impact of alternate materials.
6. Analyse, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers/sub-contractors pricing for every tender.
7. Update tender costing database in form of unit rate for essential general material, machinery and labour cost
8. Prepare bills of quantity from drawings take-off with sufficient definition of work scope.
9. Feasibility study of job/contract offered from client/consultant/main-contractor.
10. Preparation/assist in submission of tender including method statements, work programme, schedule of rates and resources chart.
11. To comply with ISO requirements and company’s policies/regulations/procedures.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying/Civil Engineering.
• 4 to 5 years of related working experiences as a Quantity Surveyor 
• 1 to 3 years of related working experiences as a Quantity Surveyor for executive level.
• Knowledge of the construction and engineering industry.
• Construction estimating and costing experience.
• Excellent mathematical/numerical and analytical skill.
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• Competent negotiation skill.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving ability.
