About the Role

Are you an experienced accounting professional looking for a role where you can take ownership of day-to-day financial operations?

Sammoor Beauty Sdn Bhd is looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our team. You will be responsible for managing accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company’s financial reporting and operations.

We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organised and hands-on, with strong accounting knowledge and the ability to work independently.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Handle full-set accounts and day-to-day accounting operations. 
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations. 
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports. 
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities. 
• Ensure all accounting transactions and records are accurate and properly maintained. 
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up on outstanding matters. 
• Prepare financial schedules and assist with budgeting and cash flow monitoring. 
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents and other external parties when required. 
• Assist with audit, tax and statutory requirements. 
• Identify discrepancies and support improvements to accounting processes and internal controls. 
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. 
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience. 
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. 
• Experience in handling full-set accounts is preferred. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software. 
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. 
• Able to work independently, manage priorities and meet deadlines. 
• Responsible, proactive and willing to take ownership of your work.
