About the Job

As an A2R Asset and Treasury Management Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and compliant accounting for assets and treasury transactions within Sanofi’s A2R (Account to Report) process. You’ll manage asset and cash bookings, reconciliations, and reporting, while supporting continuous improvement and automation initiatives to drive operational excellence.

Main Responsibilities

Operations

  • Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting of legal statutory accounts and consolidation packages in line with Sanofi Group and local regulatory timelines.
  • Ensure full compliance with accounting principles (IFRS) and company procedures to maintain data integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (P2P, OTC, Tax, Treasury, and Country Finance) to identify and mitigate potential closing risks.
  • Support the Asset & Treasury Management Lead in CFO closing meetings by preparing detailed analysis and variance explanations.
  • Manage asset accounting activities, including proper asset booking, depreciation, and disposal.
  • Ensure treasury transactions are recorded accurately and reconciled timely.
  • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to reflect process or policy changes.
  • Support process transformation and automation initiatives in asset and treasury accounting.

Compliance

  • Ensure full adherence to SOX and internal control frameworks.
  • Support internal and external audit activities and ensure proper follow-up of identified issues.
  • Collaborate with Country Finance teams to address control gaps and strengthen governance.

Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor performance against SLAs and propose corrective actions where needed.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and technology enhancement (including ERP and automation tools).
  • Contribute to customer satisfaction initiatives and continuous service improvement.
  • Embrace a digital mindset and support RPA or other transformation projects.

About You

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, A2R, or Shared Service environments (fresh graduates with strong academic performance may be considered).
  • Familiarity with SAP (FI/CO – assets module).
  • Good command of English and Mandarin, both written and spoken.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and regional accounting standards.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience using treasury tools such as Blackline, Coupa, or other reconciliation platforms.
  • Prior exposure to customer-facing or service-oriented corporate environments.
  • Experience in a Finance Shared Services Center (in-house or BPO).
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
