We have developed a proprietary research framework designed to simplify and categorize the diverse consumer landscape of the Malay market in Malaysia. We are inviting Malaysian students (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) to collaborate with us for their Final Year Project (FYP) or Thesis. This role offers a unique chance to apply academic theories to real-world business contexts and marketing challenges.

Your Mission

Bridging academic research with industry-leading marketing strategies, you will use our internal framework as a platform to test theories and collect data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Framework Application: Utilise Sashimi’s internal consumer segmentation models to guide your academic research study.
  • Consumer Deep-Dives: Conduct primary research, including surveys and focus groups, to validate consumer behaviors and cultural nuances.
  • Trend Analysis: Monitor evolving digital and cultural trends to help us understand the Malay audience segments better.
  • Social Media Testing: Use social media as a testing ground for your research theories to see how they connect to client objectives.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work with our creative and marketing teams to understand how insights solve real-world marketing challenges.
