The Role: Opportunity Portfolio Manager (Project Governance)

 

What will you do?

 

Drive the operational deployment of critical business practices and KPIs across Energy Management Systems and Services Business of Schneider Electric with primary focus on Opportunity Portfolio Management, Solution / Project Governance deployment, process deployment, and global tools deployment. 

  • Monitor opportunity pipeline portfolio, analyse the performance and identify improvement actions focusing complex opportunities and projects.                       
  • Animate Solution Opportunity Committee (SOC) review meetings. Ensure SOC review meetings are conducted on regular (weekly/ monthly) basis, including cadence & invitations, Minutes of Meeting (MoM) & Action Tracker preparation.  Liaise with Regional Manager in the preparation and escalation of the opportunities requires regional or global review.
  • Analyse Opportunity Pipeline Dashboards (CPO Dashboard), bringing visibility of Top 10 / Must WIN Opportunities, KPI’s evolution (Example – Tender Hit Rate, Margin at booking, SOC performance) in Salesforce and Tableau BI system.
  • Ensure opportunity Win / Loss reviews are conducted on regular basis and results are shared within the organization for lessons learned.
  • Support Portfolio Analyses and alignment with finance & entity leaders to measure performance and KPI`s, actions, escalation and reporting. 
  • Implement & deploy Schneider’s Selling Governance, Customer Project Process (CPP), training & update local documents, templates, and procedures & provide support in organisation audits/ assessments. Leverage best practices and improvements.
  • Governance – Ensure full deployment and compliance with Schneider Customer Project Practices and selling governance.   
  • Implement process & tools to support the project performance, aligned with the Regional Manager
  • Reporting – Manage / prepare opportunity portfolio & operational performance reports and dashboards in Schneider Salesforce or Tableau BI system. Highlight status, progress & roadblocks.  
  • Adopt continuous improvement mindset within the organization contributing with actions resultant of organisation assessment / audit, Margin Monitoring, Win & Loss Analyses and Lessons learnt.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • Minimum 10 - 12 years in Tendering / Bid Management / Project management / Quality assurance / Process & Tools
  • University Degree (Engineering or Business preferred). 
  • MBA / Post Graduation - Appreciated                      
  • Natural leadership. Acting like owner, open to discuss and challenge others, inspire and influence the change management.
  • Desirable experience in solutions and execution environment
