The Role:

We are looking for a Tender Manager for complex Installation and Commissioning activities for large CAPEX projects for the Global Application Center Services. Services has become strategic for Schneider Electric growth and in this role, you will collaborate with Sales, Tech, Line of Business, Execution, Contracts and Finance leaders to escalate and gain approvals for large and complex installation and commissioning services offers. Join us and make a significant impact in this dynamic environment!

 

What will you do?

  • Participate in the programming of the tender opportunity with Sales (and/or the Customer) to understand the project requirements and required deliverables.
  • Elaborate complex set up for installation and commissioning offer for large site
  • Ensure that offer is optimized and matching customers requirements
  • Ensure that our offer is defined with clear prerequisites, and schedule
  • Responsible for the accurate development and understanding of the more complex services solutions with effective presentation
  • Coordinate and analyze pricing and technical document production.
  • Work with assigned technical resources to obtain Schneider equipment pricing and margin analyses.
  • Prepare the final version of pricing documents and leads price/scope review meetings with representatives from Sales, Engineering, Pre-construction, Execution and Finance before proposal delivery.
  • Coordinate with Solution Risk Manager (SRM) and Customer Project Officer (CPO) counterparts to plan and manage escalation requirements.
  • Create financials models necessary for financial analysis (P&Ls, cash curves, etc.) for complex recuring multiyear / multitechno offers for maintenance contracts
  • Develop relationships with Subject matter Expert/Owner (SME/SMO) to efficiently gain and incorporate feedback into offer package.
  • Present solution and terms to Country and Global leaders for approvals.
  • Proficient with bFO, costing tools platfrom.
  • Work within strict deadlines for escalation and submission. Drives company resources to meet deadlines.
  • Conduct verbal/written follow up with clients after submission of proposals as required.
  • Ensure accurate information is included in forecasting reports.
  • Prepare documents and works with Finance to book ‘won’ projects.
  • Organize and facilitates Proposal/Contract Transition meetings.
  • Support the construction team as necessary to order and deliver equipment.

 

What qualifications will make you successful?

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus
  • Min 8 years with 5+ years of relevant experience is recommended
  • Finance and contracts knowledge and experience recommended.
  • Sales, project negotiation, project or customer management experience recommended.
  • Technical experience in power, IT, and monitoring/control system is a plus.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and project coordination skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment, manage multiple priorities effectively, and adapt to evolving project requirements and customer expectations
