Job Description
- To lead and monitor the work of a team of design engineers.
- To participate in FA (first article) / NPI (new product introduction) activities such as CAD modelling, tool and jig design / selection and product testing support (test cut).
- To support FA/NPI activities, resolving all fixture design issues, ensuring it meets the required project timelines at the target cost.
- To ensure communication with engineer/programmers during the design of fixture to ensure fool proof solutions are implemented.
- To support project engineer in ensuring proper handover of FA/NPI’s documentations customer.
- To participate in Improvement activities.
- To ensure engineering solutions comply with engineering principles, customer specifications, contract requirements, government regulations, and related specifications.
- To build positive relationships with customers.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years in jig and fixture design and related industries.
- Degree in Engineering (preferably in Mechanical & Manufacturing major).
- Strong background in manufacturing and GD&T knowledge.
- In-depth knowledge in 3D CAD software.
- Budget and deadline aware.
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills (English language required)
- Passion for engineering and coming up with creative solutions
