Job Description

• Assist in quantity take-off and measurement of construction works. 
• Support the preparation of cost estimates and project budgets. 
• Assist in obtaining, evaluating, and comparing quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. 
• Support the preparation of progress claims, variation orders (VO), and related documentation. 
• Assist in monitoring project costs and progress. 
• Conduct site measurements and quantity verification under supervision. 
• Assist in preparing final accounts and payment records. 
• Coordinate with site supervisors, contractors, suppliers, and project teams. 
• Attend meetings and site visits to gain practical project exposure. 
• Perform other duties and ad hoc tasks assigned by the supervisor or management.

Job Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. 
• Basic understanding of quantity take-off, measurement, and construction drawings. 
• Able to read construction drawings and perform basic quantity measurements. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word. 
• Familiarity with AutoCAD for reading construction drawings is an added advantage. 
• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia. 
• Mandarin is preferred to facilitate communication with clients, suppliers, and outsiders. 
• Responsible, detail-oriented, willing to learn, and able to work effectively in a team. 
• Willing to attend site visits when required. 
• Able to commit to an internship period of 4–6 months.
