Job Description

We’re hiring a 2D or 3D Event Designer to join the creative team at SFK.

This role is all about visualising ideas and turning concepts into compelling event experiences. Whether your strength lies in layout design, spatial planning or both, we’re looking for designers who understand how creativity connects with on-ground execution.

You’ll work closely with our events and servicing teams to design everything from proposals to final event deliverables, including presentation decks, print collaterals and 2D/3D mock-ups for booths, pop-ups or full-scale event builds.

What you’ll be doing:

• Design visual themes and branding for events and activations
• Create layout designs for decks, print materials, LED screens and event signage
• Visualise layouts, booth structures and event environments in 3D
• Develop moodboards, concept boards and visual mock-ups based on briefs
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between creative and execution
• Adapt designs for multiple formats and specifications (digital + print)
• Prepare final artwork for production when required

Job Requirements

For 2D Designers:

•  1–3 years of experience in visual or graphic design (events or agency background preferred)
•  Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite — especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
•  Strong eye for layout, typography, colour, and visual hierarchy
•  Comfortable designing for multiple formats — decks, print collaterals, digital screens, and signage
•  Able to adapt to brand guidelines and deliver clean, presentation-ready visuals
•  Experience preparing files for print and basic production understanding is a plus

For 3D Designers:

•  1–3 years of experience in 3D/spatial design, preferably in event or exhibition contexts
•  Proficient in 3D modelling tools like SketchUp, 3ds Max, Blender, or similar
•  Able to visualise spatial flow, scale, and event environments
•  Experience designing event setups such as booths, stage layouts, or pop-up spaces
•  Understanding of materials, fabrication feasibility, and on-ground execution requirements
