Job Overview:
The Part-Time Lecturer for the Emerging Technologies Degree Program will deliver specialized instruction in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT), Cybersecurity, and Robotics. The position is designed for professionals with substantial industry and academic experience who can contribute part-time to nurturing students' growth and preparing them for successful careers in the technology sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching and Instruction:

• Deliver engaging and informative lectures on emerging technology topics.
• Conduct workshops, tutorials, and lab sessions to provide hands-on learning experiences.
• Ensure course delivery aligns with the curriculum and meets academic standards.

Student Engagement:

• Provide guidance and mentorship to students, supporting their academic and professional growth.
• Foster an inclusive and collaborative learning environment that encourages critical thinking and innovation.
• Assist students with projects, assignments, and research activities.

Content Development and Delivery:

• Prepare and update lecture materials, presentations, and resources in line with technological advancements.
• Integrate real-world case studies and industry practices into the curriculum to enhance practical learning.

Industry Collaboration:

• Leverage personal industry experience to provide students with insights into current trends and practices.
• Introduce students to real-world applications of emerging technologies through guest lectures or partnerships.

Assessment and Feedback:

• Design and grade assessments, assignments, and examinations.
• Provide constructive feedback to students, helping them improve and excel.

Administrative Duties:

• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress.
• Participate in departmental meetings and provide input on program development, if required.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Education:
  
• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (PhD is an advantage).
• Experience:
  
• Minimum of 3 years of industry experience in emerging technologies or related fields.
• Previous teaching or training experience is preferred.

• Proficiency in areas such as AI, Machine Learning, IoT, Blockchain, Cybersecurity, or related technologies.
• Effective communication and presentation skills to engage students.
• Strong organizational skills to manage teaching responsibilities alongside other commitments.
