About the role

SHINGESUN MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Senior Finance/Account professional to join our team in Senai, Johor. This full-time role will be responsible for providing high-level financial and accounting expertise to support the overall financial management of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and analysing monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports and statements
• Overseeing the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations and internal policies
• Providing strategic financial advice and recommendations to management
• Supervising and mentoring junior finance/accounting staff
• Implementing and improving financial processes and controls
• Supporting the annual audit and tax compliance activities

Job Requirements

What we're looking for

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA)
• Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in a similar senior finance/accounting role
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, reporting and analysis
• Proficient in using financial software and systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
