Job Description

Our goals - Your path

To carry out QC testing by ensuring the quality of product released to customers is complying with QC Specification. Ensure continuity to support production shift of 24 hours.

1. Quality Control Testing

  • Perform routine QC testing on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products
  • Testing of products to specification within production priorities and deadlines
  • Perform adjustment of batches to within specification following instructions from superior
  • Notify abnormal/out of specification test results to direct superior
  • Assistance to production upon request
  • Support / Manage retain samples as per instructions from superior
  • Use laboratory instruments in compliance with ASTM/ISO/EN standards.

 

2. Documentation & Reporting

  • Record and maintain accurate test results and quality records.
  • Report any non-conformance to superior

3. Compliance to Sika Standards

  • Ensure adherence to Sika quality systems, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety protocols.

4. Troubleshooting & Support

  • Assist production/QC teams in resolving quality issues during manufacturing.

5. Lab Maintenance

  • Maintain cleanliness and calibration of laboratory equipment.
  • Manage stock levels of reagents, lab supplies, and chemicals.
  • Support calibration of equipment if required. 
  • Maintain good housekeeping in the laboratory and QC office area

6. Others

  • Any other tasks assigned by superior from time to time

 

Your expertise - Our strength

Minimum SPM level plus relevant laboratory experience.

  • Able to work with minimum supervision
  • Good communication skill in English or Bahasa Malaysia
  • High personal safety standards.
  • Experience in Laboratory at least 1 year, experience in same industry will be an advantage. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
