- To oversee and manage nationwide maintenance, engineering, and project operations, ensuring optimal equipment reliability, plant efficiency, and adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- To lead the planning, execution, and management of engineering projects to support operational and business growth.
- Maintenance
- Develop and execute maintenance strategies to enhance equipment performance and reduce downtime.
- Lead and supervise local maintenance teams to ensure the effective implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Monitor and enforce safety standards, ensuring compliance with workplace safety regulations.
- Manage maintenance budgets, cost control measures, and resource allocation.
- Ensure the timely repair and servicing of machinery, equipment, and infrastructure.
- Standardize maintenance procedures across all locations.
- Work closely with the production and operations teams to optimize plant reliability and efficiency.
- Project Management
- Plan, coordinate, and execute engineering and infrastructure projects across multiple facilities.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful completion.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage project requirements and deliverables.
- Ensure all projects adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Engineering
- Develop and implement engineering best practices to improve operational efficiency, in coordination with efficiency department
- Drive innovation by identifying and implementing new technologies and automation solutions.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance and sustainability.
- Ensure engineering solutions align with long-term business objectives.
- Work with R&D, efficiency manager and production teams to optimize process efficiency and product quality.
Your expertise - Our strength
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Or suitable experience in similar position.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in maintenance, engineering, and project management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proven experience in leading maintenance teams, managing large-scale engineering projects, and optimizing plant operations.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- High personal safety standards and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites effectively.
