What applies to you

As a Legal Manager, you will work with the Legal team in assisting in legal matters pertaining to the Group and its businesses. You will be required to showcase excellent problem-solving, leadership and interpersonal skills across a highly cross-functional stakeholder base.

What You Will Do

• Provide legal advice and support including reviewing, drafting and vetting of company's business and commercial contracts and other legal documents to ensure that the company’s interest is protected.
• Advise and handle on all legal, operational and contractual matters.
• Assist and work closely with various departments for corporate exercises.
• To participate in various types of negotiation and provide legal input as and when required.
• Identify and resolve legal issues in contracts and provide guidance on legal implications to business units that may arise from time to time .
• Coordinate with business units and liaise with external solicitors.
• Undertake ad-hoc assignments assigned by superior from time to time.
• Keep abreast of applicable laws relating to the company’s nature of business/operations.
• General legal administrative and clerical legal support.

Job Requirements

What You Will Need

• At least a Degree in Law, LLB or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial/corporate law in handling contract negotiation (in IT industry will be an added advantage) 
• Possess good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Positive attitude, resourceful and self-motivated
• Computer literate and able to work independently with minimum supervision and under tight timelines
• Good written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia (fluency in Mandarin will be an added advantage)
