We are looking for talented Fresh Graduates and experienced professionals to join our team as Web Application Developers. This opportunity is open to candidates looking to kickstart their career as well as with exprienced professionals with strong technical and leadership experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop robust, scalable, and enterprise-grade web applications based on business and technical requirements. 
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions in accordance with established architecture, coding standards, and best practices. 
• Develop and integrate APIs and web services, including RESTful and SOAP services, to support enterprise system integration. 
• Troubleshoot, debug, optimise, and enhance application performance, reliability, and scalability. 
• Manage assigned development tasks and deliver project milestones within agreed timelines. 
• Collaborate closely with Software Engineers, Business Analysts, Technical Specialists, and project stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). 
• Participate in Agile or Waterfall development methodologies and contribute to technical discussions and solution design. 
• Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into effective, maintainable software solutions. 
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, frameworks, and software engineering practices, and apply them where relevant. 

For Senior Role:

• Provide technical leadership and contribute to software architecture and solution design discussions. 
• Lead technical discussions and drive software engineering best practices. 
• Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to development standards. 
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior software engineers. 
• Analyse complex technical issues and develop robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions. 
• Support project delivery by making sound technical decisions and collaborating with relevant stakeholders.

Job Requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline. 
• Fresh graduates with strong academic performance and hands-on Java development experience are encouraged to apply. 
• Experienced candidates with relevant software development experience are welcome to apply for Senior Software Engineer positions. 
• Strong understanding of Java, Spring Boot, J2EE, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and Object-Oriented Design (OOD). 
• Familiarity with Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA, Servlets, and REST/SOAP web services. 
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript, with exposure to modern front-end frameworks such as Angular or React. 
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases, such as Oracle, DB2, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. 
• Familiarity with Git, GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube, and CI/CD practices is an advantage. 
• Exposure to Docker/Podman, Kubernetes/OpenShift, or cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Huawei Cloud, or private cloud environments is an advantage. 
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana is a plus. 
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills. 
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions. 
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
• Able to manage multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and deliver quality solutions within agreed timelines.
