Company :

The Application Engineer is responsible to project manage, implement and maintain new operational software applications and systems. The role is also responsible for all onboarding and troubleshooting of DC and AC chargers on KINETA’s charge point operator (CPO) software.

Project Manage, implement and maintain operating/ERP systems1. 

• Defines, documents and executes small projects or sub-projects to resolve systems issues/improvements etc.

• Works alone or with a small team actively participating in all phases of the project. Applies appropriate project management methods and tools. Identifies, assesses and manages risks effectively.

• Agrees project approach with stakeholders and prepares realistic project plans (including scope, schedule, quality, risk and communication plans). Tracks activities against the project schedule, managing stakeholder involvement as appropriate.

• Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback.

• Comply with project plans and industry standards.

• Ensure software used is updated with latest features.

• Develop and direct software system validation and testing methods.

• Manage the software development lifecycle.

• Monitor system performance.

• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems.

• Effectively coordinate the installation of new systems or the modification of existing systems

CPO and operational Software Management

• Onboard new EV Chargers onto the CPO software

• Maintain software functionality.

• Create innovative solutions to meet our company’s technical needs.

• Have a thorough understanding of current operating systems (i.e. SAP, Sitetracker and Saleforce)

• Follows agreed procedures to identify and resolve issues with applications.

• Ensures that all support requests are handled according to set standards and procedures.

• Drafts and maintains procedures and documentation for applications support.

• Uses application management software and tools to collect agreed performance statistics.

• Carries out agreed applications maintenance tasks.

• Manages application enhancements to improve business performance.

• Advises on application security, licensing, upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery needs.

Education / Professional Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering/another related field

Professional Experience

• Minimum 5 years of software engineering or software development experience, preferably in a related field

• Experience working with SAP, Sitetracker and/or Salesforce is an advantage

Technical

• To acquire sufficient knowledge of the assigned products and services

• Self-motivation in improving individual’s skills on conducting assignments, i.e.: telemarketing approaches, effective negotiation, and customer’s satisfaction.

• To understand the core-value of teamwork, exercise the requirement of the values in realizing the goals.

• To assist the operational team in scheduling the jobs to achieve the sales goals.
